Specialist Dramatherapy Service (SDS)
Developments

The SDS pilot with Dundee Community Mental Health Services is hoping to expand to pilot the beginnings of integrated arts therapies in Tayside and the inclusion of a
research component as part of the Chair’s current Dramatherapy research studies. In the meantime, SDS is presenting at 2 national conferences in April in the context of
working with adults with mental illness. The conferences are Visions and Voices in Dundee (about people’s experiences of psychosis) and Arts as Medicine in Glasgow where other SATF members are also presenting.

Dramatherapy Scotland T-Shirts!

Once again, ladies and gentlemen, we at DTS are
advertising our STUPENDOUS and highly fashionable
Dramatherapy Scotland T-shirts. Help to support DTS wherever you go by buying your very own Dramatherapy Scotland T-shirt. If you are interested, please send a cheque for £10 made payable to ‘Dramatherapy Scotland’ to Elinor Vettraino at the address on the front of this
newsletter. Out of your £10, approximately £1.50 is profit and goes straight back into the Dramatherapy Scotland funds. Also, orders will not be placed for individual
T-shirts but rather in bulk because of previous experience at our printers! So, we will inform you as your T-shirt is progressing.

Trestle Masks!

DTS have purchased a set of Trestle Masks with an accompnaying Teacher’s Pack and video. These are kept at the Chair’s address (see bottom of this page) and can be rented out by Dramatherapy Scotland members. They must be booked in advance with 3 week’s notice, along with the member’s name, address and dates needed (up to 3 weeks). A cheque deposit of £20.00 should be made payable to ‘Dramatherapy Scotland’ and this will be returned on the safe return of the goods. This is because the masks are
expensive and may be in demand.
